About the President

Thomas Hanrahan is President of Southeast Advancement Services, Inc. (SAS) and since 1991 has provided professional counsel to educational, health, conservation, social service, cultural and religious institutions, assisting to raise more than $1 billion.

Tom has firsthand experience in conducting development audits, planning studies, capital and endowment campaigns, annual campaigns, and prospect research. He has extensive experience in the areas of public relations, foundation, corporate and individual giving, major gift solicitation, campaign organization and management, and pledge redemption.

He and his wife Joan reside in Plantation, Florida. Tom is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy, and the International Catholic Stewardship Conference. He is a regular speaker at regional and national fundraising conferences.
